To start 2011 as you deserve, today January 1st modest climb to the summit of the Camorca, the perfect vantage Guadarrama summits ... if time permits.

SITUATION
Sierra de Guadarrama. Central System.


POINT
PK 131, CL-601 road that descends from Puerto de Navacerrada Valsaín direction.

From the M-601, F-614 and M-607 to the height Navacerrada Village, continue along the road itself M-601 towards Puerto de Navacerrada and Segovia. Upon arrival at Puerto de Navacerrada, continue towards Segovia, down the road CL-601. Shortly after passing Las Siete Revueltas, continue to the PK 131 where he begins a forest trail closed to vehicle traffic and where you can park your car.

Coinciding with the winter season, weekends in winter and spring there is usually jam to enter Puerto de Navacerrada, so it is early.

ASCENSION
started in 2011 and ended in 2010, on the Mountain, though I admit that this time the idea was not only mine, Justiciero Mountaineer has much of the blame ... :)

Ramon and Pep are already common and Irene was released a few months ago SEVEN PEAKS ... Amanda debuts today with us, hopefully not the last ... After arduous discussions on where to go for not too much abuse the men @ s @ s @ s train, we opted for the Camorca an easy climb to a summit panoramic ...

We left the Port of Navacerrada Las Siete Revueltas and descend to reach the starting point in the PK131, where the track starts Valsaín forest towards a gate closed to unauthorized vehicles ...

... there are three vehicles parked at the entrance to the track so we decided to park the van in the existing facilities for maintenance and upkeep of the CL-601 road, directly opposite the door, big mistake, at this facility is allowed to enter. .. as we prepare to relax, a car of the Civil Guard on to us, the agent kindly scolds us because we have not seen the two existing directional signs prohibited and wants us to move the van, fortunately without penalty ...
