ASCENSION
In today's session with us and Pep Ramon with which we disagree since the ascension to THE YELMO ... Ramon is pending the Three Provinces quite some time and I ascend with my arm in plaster ...

... after the trip from Madrid to the Port of Somosierra parked next to the service station at the beginning of the forest path which we ascended, the forecast was not wrong, the fog will not let us see anything despite being the 12:45 pm ...

... the fog and Pinus sylvetris ...

... right now ...

... while the shy sun tries to leave ...

... pines are barely distinguishable.

Working along the track reached third branch, we must continue to the left along the rope towards the Sierra Norte Onion ...

... a photo of the rough before continuing ...

... the mists begin to disappear ...

... the lonely road ...

... Three provinces have already sensed ...

... at the height of the clouds.

Are
13:50 hours when we reached a small path that goes on high slope between the terraces of restocking of the slope and on the ascent to the ridge of the Sierra Onion, we've taken very quiet ... someone in a hurry ??...

After this brief stop, Marie and I we set off towards the Three Provinces, and its hills or "tacks" adjacent Recuenco Hill, a small shoulder deleted in the rise and Peña Abantos, the "antecima" located a few meters from the very summit of Three Provinces ... ... and Pep alone.

Top of Three Provinces or Onion Peña Vieja (2,129 m).

The cold is unbearable due to the wind so we reject the option of stopping to eat something here, however the views are breathtaking ...

... Guadarrama a panoramic ...

... where they highlight their most emblematic summits ...

... LOBO PEAK chairs the panorama to the East ...

... I never tire of taking panoramic ...

... a little closer ...

... Guadarrama at hand ...

... we have company ...

... posing next to the monolith.

is time to leave, after 30 minutes at the top are frozen and hungry, we set off in search of a place a little more sheltered from the wind ...

... We said goodbye to the Three Provinces ...

... accompanied by clouds ...

... along the Rock of the Abantos ...

... way to the small shoulder which is the Cerro del Recuenco ...

.. the ridge of the Sierra Onion ...

... at the height of this small hill adjacent to the Three Provinces.

Recuenco Bluff Hill (2,083 m).

Enjoying the fall ...

... lights and shadows ...

... Looking back ...

... clouds are dispersed ...

... moving away from Three Provinces.

At the height of the hill where we accessed the ridge on the rise, temporarily separated me from my climbing mates, I'll come to the nearby Top of Coto de Montejo as they descend a few meters to find a good place to stop off ...

... a rise again ...

... and other down ...

... Ayllón summits watching me ...

... the plains of Segovia to the north ...

... someone looks closely ...

... at this time no longer expected visit ...

... to reach the final climb of the day.

Top of Coto de Montejo (2,045 m).

From Three Provinces to Cerrón ...

... some grazing at your leisure ...

... while I enjoy the view ...

... towards Guadarrama ...

... is time to go, until next time ...

... clouds follow me ...

... back on track ...

... down a hillside ...

... replenishing forces ...

... as the sun begins its descent.

As is customary of late, are we going to do at night in the fall but this is a good place to grab a snack, enjoying the view ...

... we are not tired of watching the clouds ...

... or the sunset ...

... is not it?

At 17:35 hours we decided to mobilize, we'd be here all day but the cold is intense and we have yet to reach the forest track ...

... along this lonely road ...

... up to the "path" by which we ascended ...

... the sun behind the clouds ...

... mists that come and go ...

... last light ...

... that we do not tire of admiring ...

... way to the track ...

... near here ...

... how to stop taking pictures ??...

... I eagerly await my classmates ...

... walking the forest path ...

... way to the sea of \u200b\u200bclouds ...

... Pep Ramon and almost disappeared ...

... Mane captures the last shots ...

... and the moon appears on the scene.

We hurried on down the track as the mist envelops us in the dark, it's time to keep the cameras ...

... the sign prohibiting access by unauthorized vehicles track.

Someone says, and I will not name names, we could have gone up here with the van about an hour to spare between the rise and fall ... Who wants to go by car if you can walk?

finally starting point.
